90-degree and 135-degree corner guards: why angle matters
Match a corner guard to the actual wall angle before comparing its material or colour. Equal wing widths do not make a 90-degree guard interchangeable with a 135-degree guard.

Selection considerations
Measure both sides of the finished corner and check whether the substrate is straight. A nominal drawing angle may differ from a site-built corner after plastering. A poor fit can leave adhesive gaps, exposed edges or an uneven cover line.
For mechanically fixed designs, coordinate the backing profile, concealed screws and cover together. Adhesively fixed designs need a compatible, prepared surface and an approved bonding method. Check the protection height at trolley corners and include end caps where the selected system requires them. A sample on the real wall is more informative than comparing isolated product images.
Before you specify or order
- Measure the finished corner angle
- Record both wing dimensions
- Confirm fixing and cap requirements

Common question
Can a corner guard be bent to fit another angle?
Do not assume this. Use the specified angle or obtain written approval for a project-specific adaptation.
